    Should only men propose?

ProposalPants.jpgHalle Berry said she proposed to her first husband, baseball player David Justice. She said it was a spontaneous thing that she just blurted out, while they were lounging around at his house in Atlanta. They married, but he cheated (allegedly) and now they're divorced. Okay, bad example.

How about the singer, Pink? She was the one who proposed to her now-husband, Carey Hart. She held up signs in the pit area while he whizzed around on his bike during a race. I think I remember reading he crashed or something, but it turned out okay. They're happy and tattooed and married together.

And apparently, women are encouraged to propose on February 29. Did you know that? I didn't. February 29 just makes me wonder how old people are who have birthdays on that day.

What do you think about women proposing? I think it's extremely cool that some women do. But I admit that I myself probably never would. For reasons I can't figure out.

How about you? Would you ever propose? Did you propose? Why? Why not?
