The One Thing Every Bride Needs: Help

Bride + Father of BrideIf you’re recently engaged or planning your wedding you probably have a list of things you think you’ll need for your big day. Getting wedding invites, flowers, and of course the dress will be on the top of that list but there may be one thing you should add that you probably haven’t. That is assistance. When it comes to your wedding day you’re going to need help whether you like it or not. Most brides want to control every facet of the wedding but it is simply not possible when you’re throwing a party for a large amount of people. Here are the things you’ll need assistance with that you should gladly accept.

Organizational Assistance

If you’re planning a large scale party that involves catering, decorations and transportation. You need to get a wedding coordinator. You don’t have to splurge for the same one that coordinated Beyonce’s wedding, but designating one person to plan the day will be the best assistance you could ever ask for. This will free up a lot of your time to make important decisions like which cake flavor you want and if your dress is comfy enough to dance in. This will also allow you to enjoy the process of getting married instead of being worried about all the minor details.

Emotional Assistance

You’re planning the wedding of your dreams that you have been preparing for since you turned seven. There will be some tears, maybe a couple breakdowns and at least one freak out moment. Don’t worry, all you need is some emotional assistance. Make your two closest friends be responsible for tissues and reassuring thoughts. They will take care of anything that goes wrong before you even hear of it. If you do happen to find out that the photographers won’t make it or your cake dropped, then your friends will be there to console you and make sure it gets fixed, asap. Don’t be too scared to admit you’re going to need support and a shoulder to emotionally lean on during this roller coaster ride of excitement.

Beauty Assistance

It can be hard to look perfect during every life moment, so sometimes especially for important events it’s nice to get some help. Since most brides spend the whole day smiling for pictures, throughout the ceremony and when visiting with family members. It is important that they are happy with their smile. Having a great smile is something you can use everyday for the rest of your life whether you’re a bride or not. Take some time out for yourself and have your teeth properly cleaned and whitened. Get that one tooth fixed that’s always bothered you and make sure you aren’t starting your new life with a mouth full of cavities. Besides looking at your smile every guest will be looking at your face. So make sure you use a waterproof mascara that will not only prevent black streams of tears but also keep your lashes curled. Get assistance from a makeup artist or a friend who always looks good. This is the one day you don’t want to skip out on looking good. A little assistance to boost your looks won’t ever hurt, unless it’s plastic surgery or botox. Which I don’t recommend.

If you’re a bride or a bridesmaid or anybody planning on going to an event, don’t be too shy to ask for some help. A little assistance never hurt, especially if it’s to boost your smile or organize your big day.
