This season’s wedding dresses have been far from ordinary and they have included details like feathers, ruffles and lace that create beautiful shapes and will certainly make you an unforgettable bride.

Short wedding dresses are wonderful for fall weddings as the ground can sometimes be rainy, leafy and muddy while the grass is often covered with a soft layer of dew. Short dresses will not result in traumatic ruining of your beautiful trains and will liberate your thoughts of any damage to your dress. These styles are also very modern and elegant, and allow you to wear shoes that you really love.

Wear bright colored shoes that perhaps match your groom’s ensemble and you two will look stunning. Choose styles with creative necklines and asymmetrical figures in order to look as trendy and chic as possible.

Teal & Brown - Fall Wedding Inspiration Board

Autumn is right around the corner and that means that brides will be looking to the colors of a fall harvest for inspiration. But why not add a twist to the traditional orange and browns of the season by adding a splash of teal to the mix? Perhaps a bit of teal embroidery on the bridesmaid dresses or some teal in the ties the groomsmen wear. Or what about using some teal ribbon on the bridal bouquets and centerpiece arrangements for the reception hall. Here is a montage of inspiring photos that you could incorporate into your dream wedding.

Hexagon Shaped Favor Box Ideas

Wondering what to do with a hexagon-shaped box? Wonder no more....hexagonal boxes can be used to create elegant wedding favors for just about any wedding theme or color scheme. In the photo below, simple diamond patterned quilt favor boxes in a hexagon shape are used to create some fabulous looking personalized favors.

The upper right photo in the collage shows an affordable way to personalize your hexagonal shaped favor boxes. Simply purchase custom printed ribbon in a color that goes with your color scheme. Normally the ribbon can be imprinted with the bride and groom's name along with the wedding date. Also purchase some simple favor hang tags that say something like "Thank You for Sharing in Our Special Day". You can usually get about 25 of these classic thank you tags for under $5. Tie the tag onto the box using the ribbon and consider using a little dot of hot glue to keep the ribbon in place on the box.

If you are having an autumn wedding, bring the fall colors into your favors through the use of ribbon and organic elements. For the look in the photo, twigs from a local craft store (you could use ones from your yard too) were used along with a brown satin ribbon and gold organza ribbon. Leaf-shaped paper cards were cut-out of green cardstock and hand-written with the word "Thank You". You can also find personalized leaf-shaped cards at Wedding Favors Unlimited. Fall and Autumn Themed Wedding Cakes

If you are having a wedding during the Autumn season, then having a wedding cake that incorporates all the fall colors is a no-brainer. The fall color palette is one of the most popular choices for color schemes this season so brides are carrying those traditional fall colors such as gold, brown, orange, reds, and bronze through to their wedding accessories and bridal flowers as well. When it comes to the cake, you can choose to incorporate these colors directly into the icing and fondant colors or you can choose to use them more subtly as accents or in the cake wedding accessories.

Since fall is traditionally harvest time in the United States, many cake designers will incorporate shafts of wheat, sugared apples, or pumpkins into a fall theme wedding cake. However the most popular way to incorporate fall is through the use of autumn leaves constructed from fondant, sugar, marzipan or modeling chocolate. Baking artisans have gotten so good at their craft that the leaves can look real in many instances. You can even consider using real fall leaves on the cake table that surrounds the final masterpiece.

The magnificent colors of Autumn are inspiration enough for a fall themed wedding. Reds, golds, oranges, browns, and greens can be incorporated in just about every aspect of the wedding including the flowers and bridesmaid dresses. Using a harvest theme, "Fall in Love" leaf motif, or a fall fruit such as ripening apples can also provide a great base for an Autumn inspired wedding. When it comes to the reception decorations or centerpieces, focus on nature's abundance and utilize things like gourds, fall leaves, pumpkins, berries, apples, and corn along with candles (you can even find floating candles with a leaf shape).
